ABOUT ME
Ashley Karlin is both an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with advanced practice in feeding, eating, and swallowing (SWC).
Ashley has spent the majority of her career working with pediatric patients and their families in a hospital setting. While she has experience helping healthy newborns and their parents navigate the challenges of breast and bottle feeding, she also has experience helping premature infants and other children with complex medical diagnoses to breast feed, bottle feed, and eat solid foods.
Through her own breastfeeding and motherhood journey, Ashley has learned first-hand that breastfeeding at times does not always come easily or go as planned.
Ashley is dedicated to providing care that considers every family's unique circumstances and goals.
Ashley is passionate about partnering with families to meet their lactation and pediatric feeding goals.

TESTIMONIALS
I can't recommend Ashley enough, and have worked with her after giving birth to both my children. I knew from the start that I exclusively wanted to pump and bottle feed, and went to Ashley for guidance. From the start she was supportive of the decision I made. She was not judgmental and offered knowledgeable and compassionate guidance on techniques and practices in order to be successful with this path. Ashley assisted me with selecting and learning the correct way to use a pump. She helped me with supply issues, was an incredible resource when I got mastitis. Ashley was easy to reach, and truly understands the emotions that go along with being a new "pumping" mother.

I highly recommend Ashley Karlin as a lactation specialist as she helped me so much during my journey through breast feeding. My nipples were extremely cracked and sore to the point that I couldn’t even have my baby latch on without screaming in pain. Ashley is very caring, calm, and patient with you and takes her time. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a way with children.
Thank you, Ashley, for being there for me the minute my baby girl was born. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Ashley was so amazing, informative and encouraging during my journey through breast feeding after my baby girl was born. I had trouble with a sleepy baby during feedings, knowing how much my girl was eating, pumping questions and constantly worrying and stressing. Ashley was so helpful and had a way of instantly making me feel more relaxed and stress free during this beautiful transition into motherhood. Because of Ashley I never gave up and began to enjoy this journey way more then I could have ever imagined. I really couldn’t have done this without her help. Ashley allowed me to be present and worry less! To all new moms I highly recommend Ashley as a lactation consultant!!

It was so great to work with Ashley as my lactation coach. When my baby was born, he had to go to the NICU for his first day. When he came home, the doctors wanted to make sure he had adequate food supply since he was coming off of a feeding tube. We needed to start him off on formula because of that, but I really wanted to feed my son breastmilk. I reached out to Ashley and she made time to come visit us in our home the very next day. Ashley helped calm my nerves about my milk coming in and worked with me to get my production up. I really appreciated her follow up and being able to reach out to her with questions. I highly recommend working with Ashley.
