In-Home CPR and Safety Training by a Pediatrician and American Heart Association Certified Instructor
Daniel Karlin, MD
Dr. Daniel Karlin completed his training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles. As a Professor in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Karlin brings extensive experience in critical situations for both adult and pediatric patients. He has taught CPR both in California and internationally, and is an American Heart Association Certified Instructor. He is passionate about helping new parents feel equipped to ensure their child's safety.
All sessions include instruction on managing life-threatening situations, including choking and cardiac arrest, in infants, children, and adults. High fidelity manikins concordant with AHA recommendations will be used. The course takes roughly 2-2.5 hours.
This course is recommended for all new parents and caregivers, including grandparents and nannies.
In Home Sessions
In Home CPR Training (up to 4 learners) $400
Additional learners (per person) $80
Follow up refresher course $250
Additionally, if learners would like to be certified in the AHA Heartsaver Program, an additional $30/person fee is required. This certification is not necessary, but may be desired for professional caregivers.
Travel fee may apply for travel greater than 15 miles from Calabasas.
